Springsummah jumps back and forth and street style becomes more rewarding and more challenging. Everything is alive and the street throng becomes more of a force. I am dialing back my approach to offset the craziness that is my height/hair combination.
Toronto has a world-class bad Mayor and world-class street style. It’s on the come-up for sure.
I am soon introducing a new tool into the street style arsenal that may forever alter my treatment of the subject.

Sunglasses tan is my worst enemy.

Everyone at Fashion Week standing outside seems down with being photographed, which alleviates some of the moral aesthetic issues inherent to street photography. Unless I move very quickly and have the perfect shot lined up, some folks around fashion week will rotate and pose and not stay still- this requires a bit of direction in order to restrict posing, though this is only when it interferes with my ability to get a clear shot. In circumstances where a subject has headphones on, or during the Toronto International Film Festival where stylish international film journalists have press passes hanging around their necks, I will request that the subject remove the appliance.
